Job Description
The HSE Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
- Safety Advocacy: Identify and eliminate workplace hazards, ensuring the safety of all employees.
- Collaborative Leadership: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, crafting safe work environments for everyone.
- Strategic Development: Contribute to ongoing HSE management plan evolution, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Data Analysis: Monitor accident trends, provide insights, and present reports to the Leadership Team.
- Injury Management: Oversee cases, liaise with external providers, and manage incident investigations.
- Audit & Training: Develop and oversee HSE audit plans, and deliver training on programs, policies, and practices.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal HSE Coordinator meets the following requirements:
- Qualifications: Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, Rehabilitation/Return to Work, or Injury Management certifications.
- Skills: Stakeholder management, strong communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing HSE role, with desirable injury management experience.
