Shrewsbury House School is looking to appoint Gap Assistants for the whole of the new academic year September 2024 to July We offer the opportunity to work with and learn from our experienced team of staff.

The Gap Assistants will be involved in supporting a range of academic and non-academic areas: Sports, Maths, English and Art.

These positions would suit a recent school leaver looking to gain valuable experience in a thriving, academically robust educational environment.


Our Gap Assistants are valued members of our team and we aim to ensure that they gain unique work experience and have an exciting and life-enriching Gap year.

The Gap Assistants have the opportunity to become involved in and provide support to the wider community of the school.

This is a paid position and the salary will be approximately
£16,000 paid over 11 months from September 2024 to July 2025.

The role is 40 hours per week, term time plus 3 days either side of term.
