Our client is : A dynamic accountancy practice near Romford is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Preparation:
    • Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate financial records for clients.
    • Handle bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Taxation:
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
    • Support the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in analyzing financial statements and reports.
    • Support the preparation of audit documents and reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice environment.
  • Part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero is highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
