Title:
LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver / HGV Driver


The Best Connection is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a variety of clients based in Milton Keynes.

The desired candidate must be local and live within the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.


You must hold a valid LGV C, HGV 2, Class 2 UK licence with no more than 6 points, a UK digital tachograph card & a full DQC (CPC card).

Looking for drivers to work shifts which start between midnight and 5am, 5 days on 3 days off.

Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or defects.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.

Qualifications:
A Full Valid UK Licence with Category C
A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card
No more than 6 points on your licence
Must have at least a year of HGV Class 2 driving experience
Must have previous multidrop driving experience.
Good knowledge of the UK roads
Clear and concise communication skills
