Job Title: LGV Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled LGV driver to join our team at Power Electrics. As a Generator Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting generators and associated equipment for our busy Transport Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect generators and equipment to and from customers' sites using our fleet of vehicles.
  • Load and offload generators and equipment in the yard and on customers' sites.
  • Start generators following delivery and provide basic operations training to customers.
  • Connect generators and external fuel tanks, run up generators, and check for leaks.
  • Assist customers with generator operation and maintenance.
  • Deliver fuel to customers' sites using a fuel tanker or 4x4 and bowser.
  • Check and secure equipment on lorries and ensure accurate paperwork.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and provide call-out cover for emergency driving jobs.

Requirements:

  • LGV Licence (C+E) required.
  • Experience with equivalent vehicle types.
  • Digital Tachograph holder.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts and late finishes.
