The Role:

An opportunity has arisen to join Estates Division as Senior Procurement Manager to lead on the development and delivery of procurement strategies utilising procurement best practice.

The role will provide the Estates Division with a professional and efficient procurement service, advising senior stakeholders on both Capital and Operational Expenditure. Due to the scale and nature of the Development pipeline, the post holder will be required to undertake procurement activity outside of the usual University commodity areas and will therefore need to exercise their skill and judgement to ensure key procurement work is delivered according to schedule, while mitigating risks to the University. The role holder will manage work streams across various departments within the FM/Operational category/s.

About you:

In order to succeed in this role, you will join us with

Extensive Procurement experience gained within a Construction/FM environment Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and qualified to level 4 or above Experience of managing procurement projects > £50m Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally with customers and externally with suppliers to enable the delivery of objectives
