We are looking for a positive, humorous, kindhearted individual, with the ability to work as part of a team but who is also able to work independently and with confidence to provide support at our Learning Disabilities service in Woodbridge.

*The Role*Our Support Workers are key to ensuring our tenants are supported with individualised, flexible and responsive support. Working closely with Service Managers and other team members, you will ensure an excellent service is delivered.

*Your responsibilities will include: - providing support & care to individuals overnight as determined by their support plans
- writing night reports
- contributing to individuals support & care plans
- ensuring the security & safety of the building.
- completing light housework tasks.

\* *To be eligible for the £750 a joining bonus*, you must meet the following criteria:

  • If you have not been working in the care industry for the previous 2 years OR have come straight from education (eg, college, sixth form, apprenticeship).
  • You must be employed for a minimum of 8 hours per week.
  • The scheme must be a CQC registered provider in Suffolk.
  • You must work for at least 12 weeks with Orwell and pass this starting period to qualify for the payment
*Person Specification:
Care Certificate, is desirable

QCF Level 2 in Health and Social care, or equivalent, is desirable

A full driving licence is desirable. but not essential


Full PPE will be provided including certified face masks and will always be required to be worn in line with current Public Health England guidelines.
