Pulse is recruiting for a compassionate Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our client's well-established NHS trust based in Faversham, Kent, working remotely within their dynamic IAPT service and some face-to-face.

This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, working Permanent full-time/Part-time hours each week for an initial 3-month period with a view to extend.


The empathetic PWP will work as part of a team that will provide low-intensity psychological interventions, primarily CBT/Guided self-help, to adult patients within the FCS Talking Therapies IAPT service, providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment.


To be considered for this role, the PWP must:

  • Hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Low-Intensity Therapy
  • Have previous experience within an IAPT setting
  • Showcase excellent communication and listening skills
  • Have the ability to build a good rapport with a varied caseload
