We are currently setting up a new commercial team within Pioneer Housing Group and we are looking for someone to lead this team.

This is a real opportunity for you to work with autonomy and really make a difference.


This is a varied and rewarding role and you will really be able to shape the service for the Group.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties leading in three distinct areas:

Property lettings - We own around 3500 properties.

Although our social housing stock turnover is low, you and your team will also be letting shops, garages and other commercial premises as well as some non-social housing stock, negotiating rent levels tomaximise our income and generate a profit to support our main social purpose.


Non-social housing stock management - You will lead the team in the management in a small number (c200) market rented properties, rent to buy and shared ownership homes as well as a small number of commercial properties and taking the lead in the managementof other commercial enterprises and leases.

This is an area of growth and we have more home ownership products in our development pipeline.


Home ownership service - You will lead on services to residential and commercial leaseholders and also support the Home Ownership and Commercial Property Officer in the sale and acquisition of new properties - both in terms of right to buy/right to acquireand open market sales and disposals.


You will be flexible, and able to take on a wide variety of commercial activity - managing a diverse portfolio, seeking out new opportunities and fully utilise the opportunities of our existing assets.

You will be a strong leader, with strong commercialacumen and will understand the need to make our assets work for us and generate profits for future investment.


Some knowledge of the regulation of shared ownership and other low cost home ownership products and social housing lettings is advantageous.
