Job Description

We are the global leader in travel SIM card and eSIM retail. SIM Local is one of the world's largest mobile connectivity providers in the travel sector with offices in Dublin and London.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a forward-thinking Commercial Executive to support the commercial network/operator leads within our growing travel tech company. The role will assist in the commercial management of projects in both the pre and post contract stages and critical path. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate organisational and administrative skills, as well as strategic planning and cross functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a 2-3 years' experience in an sales or business development role and have a keen understanding of account management.

Responsibilities:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key network/operator suppliers and internal stakeholders

· Act as a point of contact for network/operator suppliers, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly

· Keep databases, project lists/plans up to date by regularly adding any changes

· Manage critical path for suppliers and product

· Administrative support as needed

· Create sales reports to monitor supplier performance and report to management.

· Monitor market trends and pricing, creating competitive reports

· Track promotional results and data through google analytics and powerbi

· Prepare monthly/weekly sales data for suppliers

· Margin and mix tracking

Operator/Networks Marketing implementation support:

· Collaborate with Operator/Network external marketing teams and internal operations and planning teams to execute campaigns and point of sale for retail stores

· Create invoices when needed

Team collaboration:

· Work closely with internal teams (eg marketing, Operations, commercial) to ensure an alignment of priorities and business goals

· Take meeting minutes as and when needed and relay to relevant team members

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or suitable commercial experience

· 2-3 years experience in a commercial role such as sales, business development or marketing. Experience in a telecoms, tech company or start up is a plus.

· Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset

· Ability to analyse data and make data driven decisions, and understanding of margin, mix and basic P&Ls

· Strong project management abilities, capable of leading multiple projects under tight deadlines.

· Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across teams.

· Negotiation skills important

· Proficient in Microsoft Office
