Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2.5 Desktop Support Engineer with demonstrated proficiency in providing technical assistance and leading a team of support professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused approach to IT support.

Responsibilities:

Provide L2.5 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user computing equipment.Manage a team of desktop support technicians, including task assignment, performance monitoring, coaching, and development.Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and provide guidance and assistance to team members as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.Strong technical proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and desktop virtualization technologies.Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
