This is a full time and permanent role and can offer £22,000 per annum plus a performance related pay scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank hols, competitive pension scheme, flex working and health & wellbeing classes.


The Role:

  • Some of your responsibilities will include administering purchase orders for Raw Materials and Purchase Requisitions.
  • Responsible for expediting open purchase orders. Updating SAP to reflect these dates.
  • Expediting delinquent suppliers in terms of late delivery of parts and or information relevant to the operation of the company to ensure that zeroline stoppages are achieved, escalating issues to the Buyer and Purchasing Manager.
  • This position will monitor, report, and help to resolve issues so they avoid any line stoppages or late deliveries.
  • You'll be responsible for converting requisitions for none stock items and services, which are not SAP generated, as well as publishing weekly, open order books to the relevant departments by reviewing Purchasing reports and placing orders in a timely manner for sufficient product to be delivered at the correct time that meets with the optimum quantity and quality including the relevant paperwork from the supplier

The Skills/Experience:

  • SAP and PC literate demonstrating proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Customer focused with excellent communication, organisation, and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
