The GMM team plays a crucial role in driving Remitly's ability to connect with international customers and offer a diverse range of Pay-in and Pay-out methods, including cards, bank transfers, and alternative payment methods such as iDeal, Sofort, Sepa, etc.
In this role, you will report directly to the Product team, exerting direct influence over the product and financial partners' roadmap.
This role will be hybrid (2-3 days a week) in our London office. #LI-HybridProgram Manager, Payments on the GMM team, you will interact with financial partners directly and drive efforts to build payment programs, improve operations and incident management procedures, and use metrics to track payments and partner performance.
You will partner with product, engineers, operations, data analytics and other program managers to create from scratch programs and procedures that deliver exponential value to our customers globally.
Help define payments product strategy, roadmap, and build a prioritisation framework that captures relevant tradeoffs for the team while creating organisational alignmentDesign, implement and manage programs and operational processes that help us scale within Remitly
Manage end-to-end project plans for new implementations, working with other stakeholders and financial partners to ensure delivery
Help to define and implement metrics to measure payments and partner health
8+ years of relevant experience in program management and/or payments business operations
~Experience driving medium-to-large sized technical projects with external financial partners and cross-functional internal stakeholders
~ Strong program management skills with experience taking initiatives from conception to launch and managing end-to-end execution of projects
~ Basic to intermediate SQL skill
~ Experience working with product and engineers to make tough technical tradeoffs and you can sweat the details to understand the impacts of these tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term effects
