The Bell at Sapperton is an award winning Cotswolds village pub.
We are looking for part time or full time help in the kitchen to support our chefs.
Pay:
Up to £11 per hour including tips, depending on age and experience
Aim:
To work as a member of a busy pub team whose aim it is to serve guests, in all ways, to the highest possible standard at all times.
Responsibilities
- To adhere to relevant cleaning schedules during shift, mainly washing up.
- To assist in the preparation of food as requested and directed by Senior Chefs
- To ensure at all times the Chefs work in a clean environment.
- To be fully aware of your tasks and confident with the end result.
- To ensure customers receive clean cutlery and crockery.
- To abide by the Health & Safety Food & Hygiene Legislation at all times.
- To report to your senior any problems with equipment or cleaning materials.
- To adhere to the standard of safety, hygiene and cleanliness laid down by the law and the company policies.
- To wear and maintain the correct uniform.
- To behave with other members of the staff in a polite, honest and friendly way.
- To be punctual at all times.
- To report to the Chef on Duty any complaints, incidents, accidents or any other irregularities.
- To carry out any reasonable request as made by the Chefs or Management
- To attend department and general staff meetings.
- To attend any training sessions as judged reasonably necessary by the management.
- To treat other members of staff with respect and courteousness.
- To abide by the house rules at all times.
- To be completely aware of C.O.S.H.H. (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
