About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter to join our team at THE PIG in the Cotswolds. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in the preparation and function of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Clean and maintain kitchen machinery, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and plating.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
