Care Co-ordinator - Taunton


An exciting opportunity has come up to join our friendly and fast-paced homecare team covering Taunton, Wellington & surrounding areas.

Predominately office based in the heart of Taunton the Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of care services to our clients and line managing our carers.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Rostering staff to provide a safe delivery of service to clients.
  • Be the first point of contact for both new and existing clients and care workers.
  • Effectively handle initial enquiries from prospective new clients and their families or referrals from our Local Authority.
  • Liaise with other professionals involved in client care.
  • Maintain accurate client records.
  • Provision of care should the need arise as required; any care calls undertaken outside office hours will be remunerated separately.
  • Participate in oncall duties as required.
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Ability to create efficient rotas, minimising distance.
  • A good communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Fantastic sense of humour.
  • Flexible to cope with changing demands and priorities, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Well organised with the ability to multitask.
  • A Friendly, confident and helpful telephone manner.
  • A person with a positive, focused attitude to enable targets to be met and exceeded.

Pay:
£22,500.00 per year
