Rheumatology Co-ordinator

37.5 Hours per week (12 Months - Fixed Term Contract)

We have the opportunity of developing a new role within Rheumatology services. This role will be pivotal in the running of the biologic service in the department.

You will need to have good IT skills and be expected to keep the electronic database updated.

You will liaise with the MDT, the patients and delivery companies, ensuring the patients are monitored safely and treatment delivered in timely manner.

You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers.

After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.

The James Cook University Hospital has a modern, central operating suite containing 20 well-equipped theatres and a 16-bedded intensive care unit.

There is also an Institute of Learning, Research and Innovation on site, embracing postgraduate medical education, undergraduate teaching centre, nurse training school, the school of radiography and library facilities.

The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton is an essential part of our organisation and an important point of delivery for the community.

It is one of the smallest district general hospitals in the country and has 189 inpatient beds.
