Job Description

Exciting Career Opportunity: Seeking Quality Manager

A leading food and beverage manufacturer in Cornwall is on the lookout for a Quality Manager to join their team. We're searching for someone who can seamlessly integrate into their vibrant culture and bring extensive knowledge of BRC standards and Quality Management Systems.

As the Quality Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring our products consistently meet high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include implementing quality control processes, managing audits, maintaining certifications and leading a team of people.

Salary: £30-40k per year

Shifts: Monday-Friday

Primary Responsibilities:

  • and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in compliance with BRC standards and other regulations.
  • quality control throughout the production process, from raw materials to final products.
  • regular audits and inspections to identify improvements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • and maintain strong relationships with retailers and stakeholders to meet their quality expectations.

Requirements:

  • knowledge of BRC standards and relevant quality regulations.
  • experience in quality management within the food industry, preferably in a chilled environment.
  • with working with retailers and understanding their quality requirements.
  • communication and interpersonal skills.
  • qualifications: HACCP and Food Safety Level 3.
  • to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
