Job Overview:
We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our shop.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
  • Stock shelves and ensure inventory is properly displayed
  • Receive and process incoming shipments
  • Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
  • Assist in pricing and tagging merchandise
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
  • Assist in the Bakery department for Serve Over and Take Away Food
  • The baking off and preparation of Take Away Food

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse customer base
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  • EHO Level 2 Certificate would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided

Job Type:
Part-time

Pay:
From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 19.5 per week
