The role:

Valcon is currently looking to recruit and IT Incident Manager on an initial 3-month engagement to help support their financial services practice.

  • Professional with at least 5 years of experience in Incident Management for medium-large organisations
  • Responsible for overseeing incident management across both Enterprise Applications and Core Infrastructure
  • Strong management abilities to coordinate the incident management across multiples teams.
  • Strong communications skills as the role requires constant interaction and reporting into senior stakeholders within the business.
  • The role will require strong participation on MIM (Major Incident Management) process, by coordinating other MIM managers currently part of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with ITSM Tools is required (e.g. Sunrise, Service Now, JIRA ITSM)
  • Experience on the financial services industry is desirable (Credit)
  • Experience working in a large consultancy previously
