Blush & Bloom is currently seeking a skilled Formulation Chemist to join their team. The company focuses on creating natural, eco-friendly personal care products and due to their expansion, they need an experienced professional to take on this role.

This position requires expertise in natural ingredients, green chemistry principles, and innovative formulation strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and create new formulations using natural ingredients across various sectors such as cosmetics, personal care, and household items.
• Incorporate green chemistry principles and sustainable approaches into all product development phases.
• Perform comprehensive testing and analysis to ensure product effectiveness, safety, and durability while complying with regulations and company protocols.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and innovations in product chemistry to identify areas for enhancement and creativity.
• Maintain precise records of formulations, experiments, and regulatory data to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with different teams like marketing, regulatory affairs, and production to facilitate smooth product development from inception to release.
• Tackle formulation issues and enhance processes and ingredients for better performance and sustainability.
• Ensure all formulations meet the necessary regulations and standards such as REACH and COSMOS.

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in a Scientific field.
• Prior experience in formulation chemistry within the personal care sector.
• Proficient in formulation techniques, analytical procedures, and quality control practices.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and certification processes like COSMOS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
