Formulation ChemistUp to £35,000Bristol Blush & Bloom are recruiting for an organisation who are dedicated to the development and production of natural, eco-friendly personal care products.

Due to recent growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Formulation Chemist to join their teamThis organisation prides themselves on their commitment to ethical practices, sustainability, and the use of natural ingredients The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating a wide range of products, ensuring they meet both regulatory standards and the company's sustainability criteria This role requires an understanding of natural ingredients, green chemistry principles, and innovative formulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new formulations using natural ingredients for various applications, including cosmetics, personal care, and household products.
Integrate principles of green chemistry and sustainable practices into all stages of product development.
Conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure product efficacy, safety, and stability, adhering to regulatory and company standards.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in product chemistry, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of formulations, experiments, and regulatory compliance data.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory affairs, and production, to ensure seamless product development from concept to launch.

Troubleshoot and resolve formulation challenges, optimising processes and ingredients for superior performance and sustainability.
Ensure all formulations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including REACH, COSMOS, and other guidelines.

Key Requirements:
Degree in a Scientific related field.
Experience in formulation chemistry from the personal care industry. Proficiency in formulation techniques, analytical methods, and quality control processes.

Understanding of regulatory requirements for the industry, including knowledge of certification processes (e.g., COSMOS, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
