The Standard Settlements Control Unit Junior Analyst position is a trainee professional role. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of information.

Direct client contact via email and telephone calls in order to authenticate documents
Liaises with other teams globally to ensure data quality is maintained
Owns ad-hoc projects from inception through to completion
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Managing various data remediation work streams Projects Knowledge
Experience of maintaining client static data within a capital markets environment
Financial services related qualifications would be an advantage
Knowledge of Settlement Instructions (SSIs), including internal firm SSIs.
Knowledge of SWIFT and how to read data being sent in SWIFT related to SSI.
Experience conversing with clients via the telephone regarding reference data.
