Regional Marketing and Events Coordinator

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Loungers Ltd Full time

Are you passionate about marketing, have experience with event coordination, and would like a role with flexible hours? We are looking for a proactive individual to take on an exciting new role within the UK's fastest-growing casual dining group.

We are recruiting a Regional Marketing and Events Coordinator to oversee community engagement and the local marketing agenda. This role will involve training and motivating teams, offering support with activity, and reporting on community engagement.
-
Sales-driving initiatives through local events. You will work with the operations team to identify focus sites, and support the GM's and on-site teams with the creation of action plans. Past examples range from open mic nights to quiz nights or even parent and baby group meetings.
-
A passion for charitable and non-profit causes. You will initiate and drive collaboration with local and relevant non-profits, whilst supporting national charity campaigns.
-
The ability to train, coach, and develop site-level teams to drive results. You will aim to evolve the community and social media training materials whilst implementing subsequent quarterly workshops.

We are looking for:
a highly organised self-starter, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multisite environment. In addition, someone who is passionate about doing good within local communities is preferred.

You must hold a full driving license and own a vehicle as this is a field based role, visiting the Lounges within a region.

This is a part time position that consists of 32 hours a week (4 days) at a rate of approx. £14 p/h. Hours can be split across multiple days to allow for more flexibility. All we ask is that work is within our usual trading hours, and at least 2 days are remote from a Lounge in and around the South-Midlands and East Anglia regions.

A bit about us:

Lounges' prides itself on being a home from home as we exist to bring people together within our unique café/bar environment.

We are a very people-centric group, with inclusivity and (freedom of) individuality at our core.

We are driven by community - each site has its own social media presence and staff engagement is encouraged through events, charity and community groups.
