About the Role:
We are looking for a
Personal Care Assistantto provide support to a lady with dementia required for 8-10 hours per week.
Hourly Rate - Please provide your hourly rate(s) at the time of applying.
Days & Times - Over 2/3 days each week to include a Saturday or Sunday, open to negotiation to fit in with existing carers but will included morning, dinner time and bed time.

Job Description & Person Specification

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal life according to their wishes.
About the individual:
A 72 year old female living with dementia, very mild mannered and with no agitation or aggression.
Rate of pay:
Please provide your hourly rate(s) at the time of applying.
Hours of work: 8-10 hours per week, over 2-3 days. Will include a Saturday or Sunday,hours to be mutually agreed to fit in with existing carers.
Main duties
Personal Care:
- support with bathing or showering
- teeth cleaning,
- dressing
- administering medication
- eating
- performing exercises
Domestic duties:
- Light cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks
These duties may vary from day-to-day
