Job Summary
NUH Cellular Pathology is looking to fill several posts due to recent internal promotions. The positions are part of the expansion program aimed at improving diagnostic turnaround time.
- Qualified BMS or HCPC registered BMS staff near completion of specialist diploma will be considered.
- Successful candidates will receive necessary support and time to complete the IBMS Specialist Diploma.
- Candidates with experience will be placed under Annex U pay conditions.
- Registered specialist trainee - 75% Top of Scale Band 6.
The successful candidates will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing top-quality service to patients at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Main Duties of the Job
The department offers a wide range of diagnostic Cellular Pathology services, including BMS dissection, special staining, diagnostic cytology, immunohistochemistry, and more. Successful candidates will rotate across different department areas.

The department is accredited for training by IBMS/HCPC and holds UKAS ISO: accreditation. The working hours include Monday to Saturday shifts covering both QMC and City Hospital NUH Campuses.

Job Responsibilities
