Join Our Team as a General Foreperson at RSE

Our Asset Management and Technical Services team in Basingstoke is seeking a General Foreperson to join us on a full-time basis. This role involves supervising various construction projects, overseeing squads and operatives, and ensuring all works are carried out efficiently. If you're an experienced squad leader, this is a perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and even bring in your own team

Your Key Duties Include:
  • Ensure all necessary certifications for machinery are up to date
  • Address defects promptly to avoid risks
  • Maintain accurate daily records
  • Complete task-specific site paperwork
  • Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks
  • Manage site team productivity
  • Provide progress updates to the management
  • Identify potential additional work opportunities
  • Support Site Managers on larger projects

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Certifications in using site plant/machinery
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage teams confidently
  • Follow instructions accurately
  • Work safely in various conditions
  • Knowledge of site safety practices
  • Various certifications as required
  • Full UK Driving Licence
