General Foreperson Opportunity at a Leading Water Technology Company

Our Asset Management and Technical Services team in Basingstoke is seeking a General Foreperson to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves supervising various construction projects, overseeing site works, and managing squads and operatives as needed. It's a great chance for a skilled squad leader to come on board and even bring your own team along.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all certifications for operating machinery/equipment are valid and up to date
• Promptly address any defects to prevent accidents or breakdowns
• Maintain accurate daily records and complete necessary site paperwork
• Ensure work is done according to approved Method Statements
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and briefings
• Manage site team productivity and workmanship
• Support on short-duration projects and provide progress updates
• Identify additional work opportunities and support larger projects

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role and certification for site machinery
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lead and follow instructions accurately
• Compliance with safety practices and weather conditions
• Knowledge of site safety and relevant certifications
• Full UK Driving Licence
