Flourish Education are currently working with a mainstream 2-form entry school in Wolverhampton rated 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted report.

The school are looking to recruit a general reception Teaching assistant initially until February half term but has potential to be until the end of the academic year.


This General Teaching assistant would start ASAP and would be working within a good staff team who are supportive and always work as a team to aim to be the best they can possibly be.


The general teaching assistant would need to have previous experience working with children in early years and be committed to a full-time long-term position.


  • Qualified Teaching Assistant level 2 or
  • Experience working in early years.
  • Commitment to a longterm post
  • DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 2 good references required.

Responsibilities for the Teaching assistant role:

  • To support the class teacher within everyday activities
  • To support the children within the class
  • To work closely with the class teacher
  • Of the safety of the children
