Assisting with day-to-day activities regarding monitoring, escalation, and incident response

  • Supporting the team in incident response process
  • Assisting with ensuring all security and operational controls are followed and enforced to ensure client data remains secure, available, and private, where applicable
  • Assist other teams with setting standards for and implementing event logging and monitoring tools and procedures
  • Triage of events, threats and incidents per our specified procedures and processes
  • Maintaining awareness of and adheres to Sage policies, standards and processes
  • Completing relevant training/development activities
  • Completing assignments to expected quality and timescales
  • Maintaining awareness of the changing threat landscape by participating relevant security groups, forums, or conferences

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high percentage of environments and systems being monitored for security events.
  • Maintain an efficient SLA for detecting and responding (triaging, escalating, resolving, etc.) to securityrelated event alerts.
  • Maintain a low percentage of the number of false positives
