Global Procurement Manager | IT / Technology | 12 month FTCnLondon – Hybrid workingn£65,000 + benefits

Overview:


I am supporting a reputable global tech organisation with the recruitment of a Global Procurement Manager position, the role is responsible for co-ordinating and managing strategic sourcing activities across the assigned the breath of the IT & Technology category.


Work-life balance is a priority therefore they offer 2 days a week working from their modern offices, and the rest of the week working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

:


Responsible for developing IT procurement strategy for all related projects.nCreate and maintain a Category Plan that includes a category pipeline and objectives that align with the overall business goals.nDeliver major procurement projects in EUC (End User Computing), Cyber Security, Infrastructure, SaaS (Software as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) as well as major outsourced contracts.nWork with stakeholder departments in IT and beyond.nHelp stakeholders to manage budget and resources to ensure delivery of business plan objectives through the procurement process and offering commercial guidance.nHaving a leading role in supporting stakeholders in service reviews, contracts, supplier performance management and contract management.nDevelop and support strategic direction and present to management, with a recommended proposal, supplier sourcing decisions and implementing plans.nWork with Indirect Procurement colleagues on achieving departmental objectives.nWork collaboratively with stakeholders supporting their key IT procurement activities, seeking vendor consolidation opportunities whilst ensuring consistent procurement processes and governance according to local requirements.

Skills and experience required:


Previous IT procurement experience on global and regional complex projects.nExperience running a full tender process is essential ideally in multiple IT subcategories and services.nStrong communication and relationship management skills at all levels including senior management with ability to influence an audience in a logical and persuasive manner.nAbility to work to tight timelines whilst maintaining good stakeholder communications.nProven track record of supplier relationship management, including evidence of effective negotiation skills within high value and complex procurement.nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently to achieve set objectives through a logical approach and technique.

Salary and Benefits:

n£65,000n12 month FTCnLondon – 2 days a week, the rest of the week working remotely.
