Oliver James is excited to collaborate with a renowned and well-established pensions consultancy in search of a qualified pensions actuary to fulfill the role of Associate Director within their Pension Risk Transfer team. This position can be situated in any of their UK branches, with a flexible work schedule tailored to individual preferences.
In this role, you will be involved in buy-ins, buyouts, longevity swaps, superfunds, and third-party capital transactions, evaluating how these solutions align with the schemes' journey plans. You will be responsible for managing the provider selection process, which includes bidding rounds, commercial negotiations, and beauty parades.
Role Requirements:- FIA qualified with post qualification experience
- Background in pensions risk transfer activities within consultancy or BPA providers
- Demonstrated delegation skills and a commitment to mentoring junior pensions actuaries
