Beam Saw Operative


Decormax Limited are a leading supplier of decorative and raw wood based panel products and we are looking for a Beam Saw Operative to join our team working from our head office in Wakefield due to continued growth.


In this key role you will be tasked with cutting various materials using our Homag HPP250 Beam Saw, Optimising jobs or the business to quote the most efficient way and ensure orders are fulfilled in full and on time.

Experience of working with timber products would be advantageous but not essential.


Should the business require, you will be expected to assist other warehouse members to enable a smooth running of the business on a day to day basis.


  • Have a minimum of 3 years expereicne using a beam saw.
  • Be physically active due to the nature of the role manual handling will be required.
  • Have excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Always have a positive attitude and be of smart appearance upholding our company image.
  • Be able to work in a team and alone

Hours of Work / Pay
Monday to Friday - No Weekends - Start times may differ due to covering other staff but this will be very limited

  • Overtime to be paid at flat rate

£23,757.50 per year
