We are an Chai House in Chorlton seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front of House server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanour
  • Take food orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front end area, including tables, counters, and seating areas
  • Assist with food preparation as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to company policies and standards for guest services

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with co workers
  • Culinary knowledge of Indian and middle Eastern cuisine desirable
Working hours Early shift 9pm -3pm or Late shift 4pm-10pm (11pm close Fri/Sat) includes weekends

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Pay:
£8.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: - 7 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
  • Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chorlton cum Hardy: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
