Junior Events Officer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our Public Events team in providing business support to the Events Officers and sole responsibility for the Council's Sports Pitch Bookings system.

We are a very busy team who generate a substantial amount of income for the council each year and we are looking to grow our service.


Croydon is a vibrant South London Borough with over a hundred parks and these can be maintained and showcased through a diverse array of events.

These events will include, music festivals, community and charity events, funfairs, and sporting championships.

The successful applicant should have a keen interest in the events and sports industries. They must possess strong customer service skills, be computer literate, and have good time management and organisational skills.

There will be some evening and weekend working required when there are events taking place and they must be able to attend the Council event venues and sports venues as and when required.
