Hello everyone

We are currently in search of a talented Python Fullstack Developer to join our team.

Role: Python Fullstack Developer

Location: San Mateo CA, San Ramon CA, New York City NY, Stamford CT

Work Setup: Hybrid/Onsite

Experience Level: 12 years

As a FullStack Python Engineer at Indium Software Inc./ Franklin Templeton, you will:

  • Collaborate with development teams and product managers to brainstorm software solutions
  • Comprehend both client-side and server-side architecture
  • Craft visually appealing frontend designs for applications
  • Manage databases and applications effectively
  • Develop and document APIs
  • Ensure software responsiveness and efficiency through testing
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade software as needed
  • Establish security and data protection protocols
  • Create mobile-responsive features and applications
  • Write technical documentation
  • Enhance software with the help of data engineers and analysts
  • Work on projects executed in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Proficiency in developing desktop and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of common technology stacks
  • Familiarity with various frontend languages and libraries like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
  • Strong command of Python programming language and associated libraries
  • Experience with databases (e.g., Snowflake, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design
  • Ability to develop and deploy applications on AWS Serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities

Primary Skills:

  • Understanding of both client-side and server-side architecture
  • Creation of visually appealing frontend applications
  • Effective management of databases and applications
  • Documentation of APIs
  • Thorough software testing for responsiveness and efficiency
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and upgrading software systems
  • Implementation of security and data protection measures
  • Development of mobile-responsive features and applications
  • Engagement with data engineers and analysts to enhance software
  • Previous experience in Agile/Scrum project methodologies

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Unit testing frameworks (e.g., Junit, Karma, Jasmine)
  • Knowledge of Maven, Gradle, CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo
  • Understanding of Cloud App services, Load Balancer, Application Gateway
  • Experience with Cloud services, preferably Azure
