Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Lead to join a brilliant school in the South Molton area.

This is a potential long term role for the right applicant, ready to start right away.

Your responsibilities will include –

Supervising students who are internally excluded

Designing and developing the curriculum on offer for the students to re-integration

Maintaining a calm and patient learning environment

Reducing potential permanent exclusion by offering an alternative curriculum which includes behaviour for learning intervention

Implement the behaviour policy of the school

Liasing with teaching staff to make sure that appropriate work is set

What you will ideally have –

Qualifications in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or higher in GCSE

A-level certification(s) or equivalent

Awareness of the significance of students reaching their maximum potential

Experience with diverse students exhibiting behavioural challenges

Strong understanding of collaborating with parents, guardians, and external agencies, along with delivering tailored intervention programs for specific student groups

Dedication to enhancing student ambitions

Ability to adapt and work flexibly

Attuned to handling intricate situations with sensitivity

Vigor and passion for enhancing the learning experience for all students

Effective communication abilities

Proficiency in connecting with young individuals, often with complex needs

Confidence and adeptness in interacting and collaborating with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
