Project Team Management

  • Lead the Project Management Team by example and support a proactive and positive team ethos
  • Coach and develop the Project Management Team, ensuring that they have the relevant skillsets, training, and support to deliver outstanding service
  • Manage workloads and planning so that Project Managers, including yourself, are effectively assigned to projects based on capability and capacity
  • Coordinate activities throughout the project lifestyle ensuring successful project delivery
  • Be willing to challenge/remove blockers, from either internal or external factors, that stop the Project Team successfully completing their jobs
Project Delivery

  • Coordinate activities throughout the project lifestyle ensuring successful project delivery
  • Work to manage and mitigate any project risks
  • Escalate and help resolve service affecting issues promptly
  • Work closely with and build strong relationships with the Account Management Team, ensuring that you deliver a unified approach
  • Engage with both internal teams and customers, to ensure smooth project delivery, as well as helping to build key, long lasting relationships
  • Ensure a smooth handover from Account Management to Projects and then from Projects to Support, creating clear documentation to support the handover
  • Focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations wherever possible, whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders and provide regular accurate updates to all stakeholders throughout the project delivery lifecycle
  • Attend customerfacing meetings when needed
Leadership

  • Develop effective collaborative working at a senior management level
  • Help form the company strategy, based on the approved vision
  • Develop and implement business processes and procedures that are appropriate to the project management function, and which are aligned to the company strategy
  • Be prepared to wear 'more than one hat' when necessary, and to adapt to changing priorities

The Offer
This role will come with salary of up to £85,000 in addition to generous benefits package.
