The Role:

  • Provide advice and guidance to management on training and development requirements and actively promote apprenticeship schemes.
  • Taking the lead on all employee relations issues such as discipline, redundancy, grievance, appeals, performance management, change, and absence management by ensuring that any potential risks are identified and minimised by considering all mitigating possibilities.
  • Manage your own employee relations caseload within the correct framework and coach all levels of management through these matters to ensure a successful and timely resolution. And to ensure that they are dealt with confidentially, fairly, commercially,pragmatically and that all legal procedures are followed.
  • Assisting with the monitoring, reviewing and updating of all HR policies, ensuring they are in line with current legislation and maintaining data protection at all times.
  • Actively participating in project work, increasing engagement levels and promoting EDI initiatives.

Skills:

Previous experience of operating at HR Advisor level within a Human Resources environment.

Previous experience of managing large volume of employee relations issues
