The role
As a Head of Curriculum, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

To lead the planning, development and implementation of all curriculum for the various programmes which form the Babcock PEQF (Police Training) offering.

Day to day, you'll ensure internal and subcontract design is delivered in line with agreed targets. Ensure all delivery staff are appropriately trained for delivery of the curriculum.

  • Curriculum (including assessment) design, development and implementation for programmes within the Babcock Police contracts
  • Ensure the curriculum meets best practice and complies with all quality measures and ensure compliance with external inspection and auditing bodies i.e. OfS / QAA / Ofsted and ESFA
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure the content, layout and structure of the programmes are appropriate to the contract needs
  • Using a partnering approach, manage subcontractors in line with agreed commercial contracts

Essential experience of the Head of Curriculum:

  • Extensive curriculum design experience
  • A detailed understanding of the apprenticeship environment and associated rules
  • Experience in the development and implementation of curriculum solutions to support and enhance programme delivery
  • Development of programmes in line with government funding rules
  • Demonstrate and support good practice through innovative teaching and learning strategies
