The Role


Hosting approximately over 100 weddings a year plus private events and conferences and a very busy bar, restaurant & terrace, we have a very fast paced working environment.

The role is very dynamic, incorporating a wide variety of tasks including working front of house when required. The Wedding and Event Supervisor will assist the Event Coordinators to ensure quality delivery of weddings and events.


It is an incredibly satisfying and fulfilling role for the right energetic person that doesn't enjoy a 9-5 desk job.

There are planning elements involved however this is an operations role where you will be physically prepping, setting up and running weddings on the day.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, set up and breakdown weddings and events
  • To ensure events/ weddings run smoothly, on time and to a very high standard
  • To be a decision maker during weddings and events and help lead the team to a successful event
  • Deal with any issues that arise promptly and professionally
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the event planning and delivery process
  • Supporting the Event Manager where required.

About You


As a Wedding & Events Supervisor, you will need to be able to demonstrate a passion and energy for the industry.

Excellent organisational skills, including multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Efficient, systematic, and methodical, you will have a flair for running events.

Self-disciplined with a capacity for hard and effective work, you are also able to nurture collaborations, using your strong interpersonal and communication skills to cause others to work towards shared goals.

Ideally you will have events, wedding or hospitality experience.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience within Hospitality or Events
  • Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach
  • Enjoys working under pressure and can think on their feet and make decisions
  • Responsible, Confident, forward thinking self motivated individual
  • Takes the initiative to make sure the clients and business needs are met
  • To not shy away from rolling up your sleeves and completing all tasks required for weddings and events to be set up, run and broken down successfully.
  • To be willing and enjoy physical work
  • To be competent in basic computer skills and able to complete administrative tasks

Job Type:
Part Time but with potential for full time hours during busy periods

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
£9.18-£12.00 per hour
