Digital Communications Manager - West London - 12 Months
New opening for a Digital Communications manager with our Prestigious Pharmaceutical client in London. This is initially a 12 month contract paying £30 per hour. Hybrid work will be available with the offices based in West London.
This is a great opportunity for a digitally savvy Communications Manager to work within an international corporate communications team. The team spans across multiple international regions covering a wide range of markets.
You will be coming into a team that supports the commercial organisation.

You will be responsible for assisting in developing the communications strategy and execution for employee engagement, external communications and corporate reputation.

The team also has accountability for the management of the corporate website and corporate social media channels.

The 'Senior Digital Communications Specialist' role is to provide the strategic and technical capabilities in support of the communications teamsin order to optimise the channels towards engaging with their stakeholders.

This position requires a level of experience to manage across a large matrix organisation working with the clients Digital Task Force (DFT) on an international basis.


Main responsibilities:

  • Providing counsel and hands on shaping of the DTF strategy to enable the corporate website and social media channels to deliver on communications objectives for their target stakeholders
  • Providing counsel and hands on support in optimising the corporate websites architecture, content and execution including tracking tools and SEO strategy
  • Proving counsel and hands on support on best practice social media channel and content management to optimise impact on our stakeholders
  • To advise on and help implement an omnichannel digital strategy considering the PESO (paid, earned, shared, and owned) model
  • To devise a programme to help upskill the capability of the market corporate communications team in digital channel content and execution
  • To work with external providers in reviewing and setting up social media channel management and systems
  • To work with worldwide business insights and analytics in metrics platforms and ways of working experience with AEM and Sprinklr ideal
  • To support in the daytoday management of the DTF working for the lead in helping run 'steering meetings' and 'exchange forums' for best practice development and capability upskilling
  • To Keep up with the latest trends and exploratory competitive analysis and onwards inform and educate the market teams

Desired competence and experience:

  • Extensive experience in digital channel communications
  • Strong project management capability
  • Digitally savvy, including l strong capabilities in social media, web, and analytics
  • Strong communication skills including writing
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Creative, analytical, curious, and proactive executer
  • A genuine interest in health and technology
  • Experience of working in the healthcare sector (or any other regulated industry
If you are a digitally savvy Communications Specialist, with global experience in a matrix environment. The client would be eager to engage with you. Ideally you will have previous exposure to working in a regulated environment.
