Our United Kingdom (UK) structured rates and transactions team has the unique opportunity to bring an experienced structurer onto the platform to help us continue to grow our business.

Use your deep background of cash and derivatives products and market architecture to lead a collaborative team to success.


You will be a self-starter and business builder, able to interact with salespeople, traders, and clients on a variety of rates business, including derivative optimisation, treasury financing, and municipal transactions.

You will be well rounded in technical skills and will focus specifically on the derivatives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support rates transactions on Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Asset Managers between Banks, and Corporates & Sovereign Supranational Agencies (SSA)
  • Support coverage with the production of content, ideas, marketing but also direct client interactions
  • Review the applicable regulatory context for transactions, either on the client side or the internal Deutsche Bank side, for optimisation of the solutions
  • Support coverage in the negotiations with external clients
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies, as well as follow Deutsche Bank internal policies for internal review and approvals for transactions
  • Assist trading in pricing and documenting complex transactions

Your skills and experience

  • Previous relevant experience in Rates products, including derivative pricing
  • Practical knowledge of market regulations and documentation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
  • A strong growth mindset, with experience originating business and expanding an existing client base
  • Problem solving skills, with ability to use knowledge to find constructive solutions, clientfacing and able to support coverage in direct engagement
