We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Analyst to join our Funds Ratings team in London. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating the creditworthiness of various debt instruments issued by funds, closed-end funds, and other fund vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth credit research on a wide range of funds, closed-end funds, and other investment vehicles.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and databases to evaluate fund debt structures.
- Prepare and present internal credit memos and publications to stakeholders.
- Participate in diligence meetings with fund management teams to assess their investment acumen and risk management skills.
- Collaborate with KBRA experts in other sectors to leverage their expertise and knowledge.
- Conduct research for internal and publication purposes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Math-related fields.
- Three or more years of experience as a credit analyst in fund lending, investing, or structured finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and ability to cash flow model.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- SQL and VBA skills for querying databases a strong advantage.
- Successful progression towards CFA a plus.
