We are currently in search of Residential Care Workers for our facility located in Essex and Bedford. You will work on a rotational basis, building positive and nurturing relationships with young individuals. Your role involves offering guidance, aid, and encouragement to help them address challenges from the past and present.

The daily tasks can vary widely; from organizing activities in the morning to offering one-on-one guidance in the afternoon. Every day presents new challenges. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, flexible, and able to assess situations to assist young people in making positive decisions.

Roles and responsibilities will cover:

  • Providing emotional support during challenging times
  • Fostering ambition in young individuals, aiding in goal achievement and maximizing potential
  • Assisting young people with their educational endeavors
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing written reports on young individuals for various meetings as instructed
  • Empowering young people to participate actively in decisions regarding their lives and future
  • Serving as an advocate in meetings concerning the young person
  • Encouraging community engagement, participation in off-site activities, and expansion of their social network
  • Meeting the needs of children and youth, organizing social activities, and managing household tasks

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement is 21 years
  • Holding a valid UK driving license is preferred
  • No prior experience needed, just a strong dedication and enthusiasm for working with young people
