The Role

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Senior Bid Manager is responsible for managing the bid process from start to finish, managing and responding to tenders and RFI/RFQ/RFPs, ensuring that OASIS is optimally positioned to win and renew business.

This requires someone who is comfortable building and executing a plan to create a benchmark capability, beyond the RIM sector.

This role is hybrid and candidates can be based anywhere in England but have the flexibility to travel to our sites for meetings and collaboration time.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the bid qualification, review and submission process for new and existing large opportunities across the OASIS Group.
  • Work alongside Sales Leads, Pricing Leads and Solution Architects to ensure that OASIS submits timely and compelling responses to RFI/RFQ/RFPs and tenders.
  • Identify framework and tender opportunities that align with the OASIS Group business strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate input from stakeholders including Commercial, Marketing, Product, IT, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Operations, HR and Contract teams.
  • Maintain communication with clients and internal stakeholders on bid or framework progress.
  • Drive the Sales Lead to develop and implement win themes and strategies for our proposals.
  • Develop and maintain a full bid library with rich content for teams to utilise in responding to audit, bid and other exploratory questions from both current and potential clients.
  • Source, implement and manage the deployment of an AI capability to build bid responses, leveraging the bid/content library.
  • Work with the Marketing team and business stakeholders to develop best practice, White Papers and materials that promote the OASIS Group and its services through website and social media channels.
  • Work across the OASIS Group to communicate and share learning from bid outcomes via thorough win/loss reviews.
  • Manage, coach and develop OASIS Bid Managers and take accountability for the team's outputs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally skilled in managing and responding to large framework tenders.
  • A self-motivated and driven individual, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and bids simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to confidently interact at the highest level.
  • Outstanding literacy and numeracy skills with excellent ability to use all Microsoft office products.
  • An appreciation of business contract terms & conditions, as well as an understanding of risk management.
  • An ability to interpret technical information to pair client needs with the appropriate OASIS' product or service.
