Aarondale Court Nursing Home is looking to recruit an Administrator to work within our well-presented nursing home.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the home manager with administrative requirements
  • Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries about the home and its facilities
  • Ensure residents and staff records are kept up to date
  • Log and distribute incoming and outgoing post
  • Assist the home manager in recording residents funds
  • Keep up to date records of all room allocations
  • Interact with all visitors including relatives, district nurses, GPs, social services and other professionals
  • Ensure all visitors are identified before access into the home
  • Payroll and timesheet details completed accurately each week.

Skills:

  • Administration / officebased experience
  • IT proficiency, experience working with Excel and Outlook
  • Organised approach, with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and punctuality
  • Ability to communicate well with staff, residents, visitors and professionals
  • A warm and friendly disposition
  • Passion to make a difference to the lives of our residents.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
