Job Title:
Decontamination Technician

Key Accountabilities

Build and nurture great working relationships with the Dental Nurse team
Be actively involved in the smooth running of the practice by working well with your practice team Performance
Take ownership of daily and weekly organisation of the decontamination room in order to ensure efficient turnaround of instruments and equipment
Ensure decontamination room hygiene and infection control processes are adhered to in line with current guidance ensuring the decontamination process is followed (HTM 0105 / WHTM 0105)
Regularly checking stock levels of materials required for the decontamination process
Maintain practice equipment in line with manufacturer's instructions Process
Ensure excellent practice regulatory compliance and clinical standards in line with relevant regulation and guidance
Ensure all validation documentation is completed and reviewed for the decontamination process
Comply with the mydentist health and safety policy and all relevant risk assessments including the use of sharps, CoSHH assessments and wearing correct personal protective equipment (PPE)
Always adhere to policies and procedures

Salary:
£8.50-£10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
