Early Years Inclusion Support Worker

Monday - Friday

No weekends

The role is to model inclusive practice and support staff in Childcare settings maintain high quality policy and procedures. Supporting settings to liaise with external agencies, including the child's next setting. Contribute to the SEND outreach service and promote the work of NAPI.


Applicant must be a self-motivated person who is able to provide additional practical support to preschool playgroups and private day nurseries for children with special needs and/or disabilities.

They must have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and childcare or equivalent.

Previous Senco experience preferred but not essential, but previous experience of supporting a range of children with arrange of SEND and disabilities.


If successful for the role you must be confident in modeling high quality inclusive practice within a range of early years settings and offer guidance to staff around SEND and Newcastle City Council's Early Years Support Documentation.


This role includes working closely with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Outreach Service as well as arrange of other professionals.
