Senior Care Assistant (days) – 42 hours p/w - £15.21 ph (paid breaks) – Outskirts of OxfordA brand new, luxury care home in the west outskirts of Oxford requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Care Assistant to lead a team of care assistants.This is a permanent, full-time position, with fantastic opportunities to develop your career through an exceptional training facility and fantastic company benefits such as paid breaks and bank holidays, regular staff social events, paid DBS & uniform and free onsite parking.Role Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing the kind of care that will give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will be involved in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication
  • Supporting a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care and you'll be a real influence on the rest of the team
Requirements:
  • A brilliant positive energy and natural ability to get along with people
  • Good at record keeping and able to manage your time effectively
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • An S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care is desirable
